CANGO WILDLIFE RANCH
Our facility has been in existence for 30 years and currently comprises of over 90 different species of animals and 100 full-time staff. We provide guided tours which are fundamental in our education programs, giving each species a voice, and enlightening the public on animal and environmental issues. In order to bring these ‘messages home’ we have enveloped it in a fun and unique setting and proudly see ourselves as one-of-a-kind.
OSTRICH SHOW FARMS
Visit one of our well known ostrich show farms in the area. They offer you a complete ostrich package for example:
• Feeding an ostrich
• Standing on (infertile) ostrich eggs
• Enjoy an ostrich fillet
• Buying souvenirs from the curio shops

CANGO CAVES
29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lie the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo – the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations.
CP NEL MUSEUM
In 1972 the CP Nel collection was brought to its present home – the former Oudtshoorn Boys’ High School. As a result of this, the sandstone building, with its beautiful clock tower, was saved from demolition. The building as a whole dates back to the second “ostrich feather boom” (1900 – 1914) and was declared a National Monument in 1981.
SWARTBERG PASS
The Swartberg Pass on the R328 run through the Swartberg mountain range which runs roughly east-west along the northern edge of the semi-arid area called the Little Karoo in the Western Cape province of South Africa
GAMEVIEWING
Malaria-free game-viewing with great weather all year round. Head for the plains on a Bush Safari in an open game vehicle accompanied by a professional game-ranger. See the many different buck species, elephants, Rhino, Giraffe,Zebra and also visit the meerkat colonies during your visit. 2-3 Hour game-drives twice a day only 7km outside Oudtshoorn.
