About us
Cul de Sac is situated in Oudtshoorn and is nestled between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains right in the heart of the Klein Karoo. It is a family-run establishment that has been in the Engelbrecht family for 25 years, originally built by Derick & Amanda Engelbrecht.
The new generation, Billy & Vanessa Engelbrecht have taken over the management and their hope is that their children, Isabella and Derick junior will one day inherit the family business.
So join us at Cul de Sac Country House where you can relax in a peaceful environment within walking distance of the town centre.
Outside area is large with a lovely swimming pool and each room has its own outside table and chairs. Braai facilities also available as well as undercover parking. Situated close to town but hidden away so peaceful and quiet.
Best B&B we have ever stayed in, the rooms are beautiful and spacious , there is lots for kids to do – lovely play area and trampoline, friendly staff and good food. Will recommend this place to anyone.
Clean spacious self catering room, with braai facility outside. Inviting pool (too cold on this visit) and lovely gardens. Close to town, very reasonably priced. Friendly efficient staff. Would reccomend, especially for families.
Cul De Sac is excellent value for families, there is a huge garden, pool, trampoline and a jungle gym to keep children entertained. There are braai facilities outside each unit which are cleaned daily.
